Club Officer Training Statistics

The Division has conducted four training days over the past three weekends.

We held two days on the Sunshine Coast, one in Maryborough and a final day in Rockhampton.

Club officer training is an essential part of being a member of a club executive.  It does not matter how many times you have done your role, there is always something new to learn.  These sessions are full of great information about your role as well as all the other club officer roles.

Other sessions on offer this year included –

  • Creating a vision
  • Mentoring
  • Evaluation

The sessions were well attended but if you are a Club Officer this year and missed out, please contact your Area Director.  They will be able to help you get trained.

Our stats are in for the first round of Club Officer training. We got 110 of the 196 Officers trained. Although a lot of clubs had the minimum trained I would like to see the majority if not all trained. It is an essential part of being a club officer. I always learn something new when I go to training and not just about the role I am undertaking, but across the board.
